X-Cel provides recreational gymnastics classes tailored for girls in 1st grade and above. (If your child is between 18 months and Kindergarten, please check out our Preschool Gymnastics page).

Our girls recreational gymnastics classes focus on the fundamental and advanced skills of the sport for girls and rotate through events, including floor/trampoline, vault, uneven bars, and balance beam. Classes will also encompass strength training, conditioning, and safety skills. Classes range from Level 1 to Level 5/6/7, each with skills highlighted below. At X-Cel, we prioritize proper progressions and skill techniques in all of our gymnastic classes. The duration of these classes ranges from 60 to 90 minutes per week, with corresponding pricing.

Students in recreational levels 1-7 will have the opportunity to register for and participate in a Class Meet, a "mock meet" where they will perform skills and routines learned in class in front of an audience and guest judges, including members of our Xquisite Gymnastics team.

New to X-Cel or uncertain about the appropriate level placement?

Girls in 1st grade and older will need an evaluation for level placement if new to X-Cel or if  she has not attended X-Cel in the last 12 months. Level 1 beginners may enroll without an evaluation. Please call us at 724-772-0055 to schedule a 10-15 minute evaluation (free of charge).

Once enrolled, level placement is established by instructor recommendations based on required skills for each level. For children who have been evaluated or students who have received a level recommendation for the upcoming registration period, please use the link to visit the Parent Portal to see class availability or enroll.
