The Tumble and Tramp program is designed for students who prefer not to use the bars, beam and vault! We have developed a series of classes specifically aimed for developing skills on the trampoline and the floor. It is a great second class during the week to get extra time to obtain additional tumbling skills or to perfect the skills learned in other classes during the week. Because of the specific skills taught in this class, it is a great addition for the active cheerleader. 


Tumble and Tramp Classes Offered:

Intro to Back Handspring: This class offers tumbling and trampoline exclusivity and is designed for students that are interested in dance, cheerleading, and general tumbling. Emphasis is placed on drills for back handspring and front handsprings. Back and front walkovers, rolling, cartwheels, round offs and handstands will also be covered. Beginner conditioning, body positions, and safety drills will be taught.

 

Back hand-spring: This class offers tumbling and trampoline exclusivity and is designed for students that are interested in dance, cheerleading, and general tumbling. Emphasis will be on back and front handsprings and round off back handsprings. Side and front Aerials are also covered. Intermediate conditioning, body positions, and safety drills will be taught. Must have back walkover and cartwheel.

 

Back handspring Series: This class offers tumbling and trampoline exclusivity and is designed for students that are interested in dance, cheerleading, and general tumbling. Emphasis will be on 3 back handsprings in a row and round off back handspring series. Side and front aerials are also covered. Intermediate conditioning, body positions, and safety drills will be taught. Must have back handspring.

Flips Unlimited: This class offers tumbling and trampoline exclusivity and is designed for students that are interested in dance, cheerleading, and general tumbling. Emphasis will be made on obtaining tucks both front and back. Also layout positions in the air will be introduced. Advanced conditioning, body positioning, and safety drills will be taught. Must have 3 back handsprings in a row. 

 

Flip & Twist: The athlete is required to be able to do round-off to back hand springs with a rebound to be eligible for this level. Multiple back hand springs connected, round-off back tucks, round-off back hand spring , back tucks/layouts as well as front tucks are taught at this level.

Twisting: This class offers tumbling and trampoline exclusivity and is designed for students that are interested in dance, cheerleading, and general tumbling. Emphasis will be made on obtaining layouts, halves and fulls. Advanced conditioning, body positioning, and safety drills will be taught. Must have layout on floor. 

Co-ed Teen Tumble: This class includes gymnastics training focusing on the fundamentals of the sport for girls and boys. Attention is given to proper body shapes, correct form, and building strength and flexibility. Skill training on floor exercise includes emphasis on handsprings, cartwheels, handstands &  basic flipping skills. Classes rotate to floor and trampoline. Skills are broken down into small progressions of success building self-confidence. This class is perfect for girls and boys who may be interested in karate, wrestling, soccer or cheerleading. This class will prove to be a great building block for all sports. Tumbling builds core strength, flexibility, and confidence. This class is great as an add-on class for all around gymnastics.
