Talia Trapuzzano Eubanks, PT, DPT, SCS, ATC
Talia personally developed the Gymnastics Performance and Rehabilitation Program in 2007 because of her experience as a USA Gymnastics level 10 gymnast in Pittsburgh, PA. She decided to become a physical therapist, initially, because of the various injuries she sustained during her gymnastics career, and the frustration of being unable to get care from people who were familiar with the sport.
Talia earned her bachelor’s degree in physical therapy from the University of Hartford in 1999 and her doctorate from Boston University in 2005. She pursued further sports medicine education by completing a sports medicine fellowship at the prestigious Steadman Hawkins Clinic in Vail, CO in 2000, and a sports physical therapy residency in Birmingham, AL in 2001. She is also certified by the American Physical Therapy Board as a Sports Certified Specialist. In addition, she is a Certified Athletic Trainer and Strength and Conditioning Specialist.
Talia has been involved with USA Gymnastics as a member since 2007. She has spoken at Region 7 Congress, as well as the Pennsylvania State Gymnastics Clinic. She previously worked on-site at two gymnastics clubs while living in the Harrisburg, PA area. She continues her work in the Pittsburgh area, staying involved with local gyms on and off site.
